Roasted Butternut Squash & White Bean Soup

A Cozy Winter Recipe That Nourishes Your Skin From Within

When the temperatures drop, it's natural to crave warm, comforting meals. The good news is that comfort food doesn't have to come at the expense of your skin. Choosing nutrient-dense ingredients during the winter months can help support your skin barrier, promote collagen production, and provide antioxidants that defend against everyday environmental stressors.

This Roasted Butternut Squash & White Bean Soup combines seasonal vegetables, plant-based protein, healthy fats, and anti-inflammatory herbs into a meal that's both satisfying and nourishing. It's a perfect addition to your winter routine and an easy way to support healthy skin from the inside out.

Why These Ingredients Support Healthy Skin

Butternut Squash

Butternut squash is one of the richest sources of beta-carotene, a nutrient your body converts into vitamin A. Vitamin A plays an important role in normal skin cell turnover and helps maintain healthy-looking skin.

White Beans

White beans provide plant-based protein, iron, copper, and zinc. These nutrients help support the body's natural collagen production and skin repair processes while also keeping you feeling full and energized.

Olive Oil

Extra virgin olive oil contains healthy monounsaturated fats and powerful antioxidants called polyphenols. Healthy fats help support the skin's natural moisture barrier, especially during the dry winter months.

Garlic and Onion

These kitchen staples contain beneficial plant compounds that help combat oxidative stress while adding incredible flavor without relying on excess sodium.

Sage and Thyme

Fresh herbs do much more than enhance flavor. Sage and thyme contain naturally occurring antioxidants that help protect cells from free radical damage while bringing cozy holiday aromas to every bowl.
